Narratives can create the comfortable illusion of structure in chaotic worlds that are unfamiliar to us.
My work largely consists of artificially constructed spaces, systems and atmospheres navigated through fictional scenarios as a means with which to intensify, fantasise and aestheticise the darker, invisible reaches of political, economical and technological progress. Grounded in rigorous research, consultation and collaboration, my aim is to reveal these worlds by exploring the imaginary limits within them both as critique and speculative pleasure.
