A 100-Mile Conversation
Louis Buckley & Nathan Burr
How do we talk about suicide? This project set out to explore and challenge attitudes towards this sensitive subject through walking and talking with more than twenty different people, from psychologists and Samaritans to writers and anthropologists.
Spread over eight days, the walk followed the route of the South Downs Way, starting at Winchester and ending at Beachy Head, a notorious suicide spot. The project was documented using film and audio, and inlcuded several public events.
