...or growing toilet paper from bacteria
cellulose.
 
This set-up uses Kombucha yeast, green tea
and sugar to grow bacteria cellulose.
As part of a series of experiments which
investigate how the growth of bacteria
cellulose can be guided or controlled, this
apparatus plays with the idea of harvesting
a living material by allowing the growth to
proceed constantly.
