Cambridgeshire: Refuge for Experimenters

This project looks into "regulation to mediate extreme deregulation," a political framework to lead the whole of the citizens towards one ultimate goal in a society where only spontaneous scientific experiments, seen as extreme, crazy and sometimes even unethical, can spur innovation.
--
In a society where human-related technology, such as synthetic biology, neurobiology, and augmented human, have rapidly developed, in contrast, regulations and laws on ethics haven't been able to reflect such technological advances and have become obsolete. As a consequence of conservative schemes which take advantage of ethics, even simple clinical experiments became conflicting with ethical codes or animal-protection laws, making experimental technology or innovations difficult to be spurred.
Cambridgeshire, countering to this "ethical deprivation," announces a scheme which drastically deregulates its ethical codes to encourage technologists with crazy idea to immigrate in it and to execute their experiment. In that scheme, Cambridgeshire supports experimenters' idea from technological, medical, and ethical aspects, as long as they use themselves as guinea pigs. Cambridgeshire, now called as "refuge for experimenters," strives for the technological innovation of human being, uniting citizens by various political spectacles with a central focus on this framework.
